The beaches are what Torrevieja is all about, but there is also something for the golfer with several courses around Torrevieja, or the birdwatcher with flamingos and other bird life in the salt lakes. If the ocean is not adventorous enough Aquopolis has water slides and pools. As for shopping there are markets, El Corte de Ingles Outlet, Habaneras shopping center, and Zenia Boulevard, along with numerous shops in the city.
You have restaurants and cafés at your doorstep. In Torrevieja you can enjoy tapas and the traditional Spanish cuisine, as well as flavours from all over the world.
